Desc: A message from Caesar's advisor:
An opportunity has arrived to please Caesar. As a brave leader, I'm sure you'll want to respond.
There is an area of mostly high and rocky desert, where few souls would want to live.
The coastal waters are shallow, leaving few good places to dock trading ships.
There is some farmland near the coast, but not much.
There appear to be some natives living around a sheltered lake, but they seem to keep themselves to themselves.
All this you can easily see from the map I have enclosed with this letter.
So why would Caesar want you to build here?
It appears that the land is rich in resources, with fast growing crops, excellent marble in the rocks, and so much more to offer. Almost anyone could strike it rich in this goldmine! Although Caesar expects his usual compensation, that's not his main aim.
Merchants traveling over the hills have sometimes not arrived at their destinations, being robbed by assailants unknown.
Caesar is looking for someone to tame the area, keeping the warring factions at bay, and showing the quality of civilization which Rome commands.
I urge you to take the challenge.
