** Please note that I have received both an official and an unofficial review for this scenario. The official review is reflected in the ratings and comes first below.**
First of all, I was really confused about why the name of this scenario is "Great Barrier Reef". There is no reef at all. Sure, there are some
islands, but they are big and square. Don't get be wrong, it's not a bad scenario or a bad name, but I don't think that they match really well.
Otherwise, this is a good scenario for beginners. There is plenty of farmland and water with fishing. Many resources are available close by. The map itself is not
that big, but it is sufficient for the required population. It is also a good map for advanced players that want to build a fast and easy city without too many troubles. The
demands are reasonable, and the battles are easy. Overall it's a good map, but I think the creator was either inexperienced or in a hurry, because there wasn't much detail or much
attention spent on making it look attractive. Cherub Onoculator
Second Review: I just finished the last of Cherub Stone Cold's scenarios, and I am so impressed. I'm hoping that maybe he'll notice
the attention and pour out some more of these scenarios. They're a great challenge, you really have to use your head in the early months of your cities. T. Howdle
