Story/Instructions |
Empire Area: Tarraco
Rank: Engineer
Goals to Win: Culture 55, Prosperity 75, Favor 40, Peace 100, Population 15,000
If you enjoyed playing any of the peaceful levels from the City Construction Kit(or the
career levels), then you will like playing Raymus.
Farmland is spread throughout the map, with raw
materials and workshops available to build a large, prosperous city. Native villages are
present to make things interesting, or at least increase the trade income even further.
City funds are a little on the low side to start with, but that makes things all the more
challenging. With the amount of trading available, money shouldn't be a problem for long!
A few wolves are racing around, but safely on an
island. I played the map for several hours, without encountering a single request from
Caesar, which was a nice, if unexpected change! All the more goods for putting into the
city or exports. This is an entirely peaceful scenario, but minor things do occur. ;)
The goal of this map is to built a prosperous and
large city. The designer includes a screen shot of his efforts The palaces and warehouses
with overflowing wine would be a fantastic city to try and match! Anyone willing to give
it a try on this peaceful province, go ahead and download this scenario! (And if your city
of Raymus becomes a Roman masterpiece, sent it in! )
