Desc: This map is an excellent example of a strategy aimed at fire prevention, which
was debated at some length in Impression's Caesar III forum when the game first came
out. The idea is to build service buildings inside of your housing blocks, never
letting the walkers access your main road network. The walkers are forced to continually
walk in circles past your housing. Thus, all you have to do is build one prefecture,
for example, who continually walks past all of your housing and it never catches
fire. Notice how I left an opening in the housing blocks, set off by statues?
This is the KEY to making this strategy work! If you don't do this, the housing will
disapear. On this map, there are three housing blocks utilizing this strategy, and
the large block near the fishing wharves was where I first began building. I never had a
problem w/mass outbreaks of fire on this map.
