Desc from the author: Here is my last, at least I think it's my very last city, unless
folks from Impressions explain to me how to get more people to work. Anyway this was to be
my crowning achievement also it's a career map i played it as a construction kit. After
looking at the city you can see that the city is not brilliant as i want it to be, those
tent slums sure look ugly. I'm very proud of the patrician block - my best so far. If any
of you can figure out how to get rid of the tents and the shortage of workers which
increases every year (i have to keep building tents) i would be extremely grateful if you
send me the file at bel_al@hotmail.com with some
explanations if possible.
Now to give some info
you need to play around with the city.
1) patrician block is stable but if some of those palaces
devolve you will need a lot of quick micromanagement as they will prbly loose water
accsess and you might have to bulldoze some oracles and rebuild them in order to get
palaces to their former glory (devolution hopefully will never happen)
2) military - unfortunatly 1 spot where enemy comes in is
right in the city at the only wall on the map. With a bit of luck you can kill them before
they destroy the reservoir. Oh the other spot is right where the forts are so you have to
move your legions back quickly or they be slaughtered. Hint for fighting - use horse
as a buffer while javelin rain death. Also notice there is no barracks or military academy
in the city you might want to rebuild those as i had a fight recently and legions have
suffered some.
Have fun, hope to see some suggestions on getting workers, Sammy
