I'm quite pleased with it. And my first Luxury Palace block too! Well, 5 (Palaces) out of 6 anyway. I think I did mostly everything "right" this time, and have lots of room and farmland still available to grow. Over 115,000 denarii, 8700 plus population, Prosperity 100, Peace 100,
Favor 97. Culture is a bit low (42), but still high enough to win scenario. Wasn't sure how many housing blocks I'd need to reach 8000, so there is one empty layout on the east side near river. Turns out I didn't need it after all. Experimented with the service walker "Ring in a ring" housing layout I saw mentioned in a housing discussion post.
Worked out rather well. 3 of those, a 7x7, a 9x9 and 6 Palaces had the population well over 8000. Not bad I think. As always, I'm interested in critiques and comments. Thanx. JL
