A personal note about a September 11th Matching Campaign from the creator of: and:

When I'm not drawing comics, I work as a Web designer for a company called GivingCapital in Philadelphia. GivingCapital is a firm that provides philanthropic solutions for financial services companies. They also provide an online fundraising system for non-profit organizations. In resopnse to the events of September 11th, the employees of the company, myself included, created a matching campaign to raise money for the September 11th Fund run by the United Way of New York. The match campaign will be administered by The National Philanthropic Trust, who will distribute it to the September11th Fund Contributing through the matching campaign means that every dollar of your contribution will be matched by an additional 50 cents from the match pool. So if you give $100 it will be matched with another $50 from our match pool and a total of $150 will go to National Philanthropic Trust to pass on to the United Way of New York.
