Perhaps the finest representative of Hell's
evil forces, the Balrog is a fire-spitting,
sword-wielding, fast-moving horror, sporting a
thickly-armored hide and countless horns and
teeth. Balrogs breathe the inescapable Inferno
spell, though they are at their worst when they
attack with their vicious scimitars. Their
massive girth belies an impressive agility,
making Balrogs a most formidable threat in every
respect. Be prepared for injury when battling
these powerful demons, as even your best strategy
will not completely protect you from their
ferocity.
