Spitting Terrors
These small, disgusting dog-like beasts demand
your utmost attention and should be exterminated
with extreme caution. Spitting Terrors are
capable of projecting foul stomach bile with
deadly accuracy, and if that bile does not strike
you outright it will form a puddle of boiling
acid nearby, which will remain actively dangerous
to the touch for several seconds. This noxious
stuff will deal magical damage regardless of the
armor you may be wearing. Spitting Terrors are
nimble and unfortunately very aggressive; they will
frequently charge and engage in close combat, not
realizing how much deadlier they are when they
use their spitting attack. As unassuming as
Spitting Terrors may appear compared to the
larger denizens of Hell, they are easily as
dangerous (and usually more so) and should always
be your primary target. Lightning works well
against these creatures who perish in a puddle of
their own fatal fluids, a testament to their
hateful nature.
