The L-Space Web

L-Space Now!

Text linking

If you feel the L-Space Web is a useful place for Pratchett fans to visit, than you might consider including a link back to us on your own web site.

The official and preferred names for the site are 'The L-Space Web' or 'L-Space', and the URL you should use in your code is: <http://www.lspace.org/>

Please note that you should try to avoid using the hostname of one of our mirror sites, such as www.co.uk.lspace.org or www.us.lspace.org.

We would also really appreciate it if you did not forget the trailing '/' after the 'org' in the URL.

Thanks!

L-Space Now!

Button linking

L-Space now has its very own icon available for people to link to it with - in accordance with the long tradition of such things having the word "NOW!" in them somewhere, this is the "L-Space NOW!" icon. It bears certain superficial resemblances to an icon that is frequently used to link to a certain software company who are responsible for a certain web browser, but the material that "L-Space NOW!" links to is infinitely more interesting. Here's the announcement which explains it all:

For what it's worth (i.e. nowt), I've created an "L-Space Now!" button which can be conveniently dropped into web pages in order to link to the World's Most Worthwhile Web Pages, viz. the L-Space Web. It's exactly the same size as a couple of similiar buttons which are used to link to certain manufacturers of web browsers, so can be easily stuck in next to (or, indeed, instead of - a much better idea) these offending items. Cynics may also note a certain resemblance to a certain link icon used to plug a certain web browser. This is, naturally, purely coincidental.

The item concerned can be collected from the bottom of my home page (http://www.tuatha.org/~mpk/) or just pick it up directly as http://www.tuatha.org/~mpk/lspace-now.gif if you prefer. (Note: If you're reading this from L-Space, it's available right from the top of this page.)

Three points:

Enjoy!

L-Space Graphic

Graphic linking

If text is too plain, and the 'L-Space Now!' button is too outdated or small for your tastes, then there's also this nice graphic created by alt.fan.pratchett veteran Murky B.

The "three points" as outlined previously also apply for using this graphic to link to us.
