Requirements
Design Time
The OO4O In-Process Automation Server requires an application that supports OLE Automation such
as:
¹ Visual Basic 4.x and later (Standard or Professional)
¹ Excel 5.x and later
¹ Access 2.x and later
The Oracle Data Control requires Visual Basic 4.x and later (Standard or Professional). The Oracle
Objects for OLE C++ Class Library requires Microsoft Visual C++ Version 2.X or
later. Neither the OLE SDK nor OLE development knowledge is necessary
Run Time
¹ For 32-bit platforms, Windows 95/98 or Windows NT.
¹ A local or remote Oracle database.
¹ Oracle networking if connecting to a remote Oracle database.
¹ Microsoft OLE 2.0.1 or greater run time files (included with the Oracle
Objects for OLE installation).
