The Gods -
Blessings and Wrath Effects
Pharaoh's gods can be helpful
if you pay them some attention, but be warned...they can be devastating if ignored.
Here's what happens in both cases:

Osiris, God of the Nile
Blessings
- Improved floods
- Floodplain farms yield double what they
normally would
|
Wrath
- Destroys floodplain farms
- Ensures the floods aren't as good as normal
|
| Bonus
when building temple complex More likely to have good floods. |

Ra, God of the Kingdom
Blessings
- Boosts kingdom rating
- Cities buy more exports than usual for 1
year
- 1 year of exports yields 150% more than
normal prices
|
Wrath
- Lowers kingdoms rating by 4-5 points
- Makes traders buy less than normal
- Lowers the kingdom rating by 10-20 points
|
| Bonus
when building temple complex Increases kingdom rating and reduces interest payments should you
get into debt. |

Ptah, God of Craftsmen
Blessings
- Finds a storage yard with excess space and
fills it with clay, pottery, flax, linen, gems or jewelry, depending on what was already
there
- Ensures that shipwrights, weavers or
jewelers are fully stocked with raw materials
|
Wrath
- Sets 1 storage yard and all the goods in
there on fire
- Destroys mines, manufacturers or quarries
NB - The "set yard on fire" one
can be particularly devastating, as fires so large aren't always contained in time. |
| Bonus
when building temple complex Speeds the production rate in industry, including mines,
shipwrights, jewelers and weavers. |

Seth, God of Destruction
Blessings
- Protects troops sent to fight in distant
battles
- Kills some of the next enemies to attack
your city
|
Wrath
- Destroys the fort belonging to your most
skilled company of troops. Troops die too.
- Destroys your navy
|
| Bonus
when building temple complex Troops granted more experience and better battle protection. |

Bast, Goddess of the Home
Blessings
- Throws a festival to all the gods
- Stocks houses and bazaars with food
|
Wrath
- Sends a plague to your best housing
district.
- Sets your best housing district on fire
|
| Bonus
when building temple complex Rate at which consumer goods are used is slowed, and effects of
entertainers (jugglers, musicians, dancers and senet players), teachers (from libraries or
scribal schools) and health providers (doctors, herbalists, mortuary workers etc) last
longer. |
I think that's all of them -
they're the only ones that I've encountered, anyway. If you've seen any more, then
feel free to send them my way
and I'll update this page accordingly.
