Game Alternative
nnovandora has put up a
thread that offers some suggestions on keeping you busy until Pharaoh is released. It's
about a boardgame that goes by the name of "Re"
The list of questions for
Angel Reckless Rodent's upcoming interview is getting longer, but there's still time to
add some of your questions. worries or remarks. You can find the thread here.
If you haven't checked out
the Egypt section...I'd suggest you take the time waiting for the release and do something
useful with it. Why not read up on your Egyptian
history. Keep your mouse pointed in this direction as we will steadily update the
available material.

Hawk's back Home.
inally I make it back to
where it all begun... Pharaoh Heaven. So what is going on here?
First I'd like to offer a
public compliment to Angel Reckless Rodent for the great job he did on the History
Section. I think we can only give him a big round of applause.
Next the Golden Hamster's
interview with Alex R. from Impressions is getting real close now. So if you have any
questions you'd like to see answered, post them here.
The interview with
Impressions' art director, Darrin Horbal, may give you some inspiration for questions.
Especially as there is a very interesting picture in the interview. One that shows
barracks and troops: archers, javelin throwers and chariots. Also note the side bar has
changed, yet again.
You can find the article here.
Last but not least, there is
a Pharaoh Preview on
Game Tropics.

More beta news
ll the feedback provided by
the beta testers so far has clearly come as a bit of a shock, meaning that they've been
busy up in Massachusetts making a few tweaks before sending out beta release 2.
Anyway, the upshot of all this is that, if you haven't yet received an email saying you've
been selected to be a beta tester, it might not be too late - over to Itchy:
I
know I said this a week ago, but we really, really will be sending out e-mails to
potential round 2 beta testers. The reason is taken it's been delayed a week is due to a
very mundane and Dilbert-esque problem on my end.
So
don't give up hope yet - the beta testers have already provided a wealth of feedback and
we're looking forward to more.
If you're interested, then I
guess that this
thread is the place to be.
Feedback is gradually
appearing in the Website
Comments forum about the Egyptian History section I opened yesterday. If you
have comments, then I'd be glad to hear them, either in
the forum or via email.
