One
of the greatest war leaders in history dying. Mar-sh'all,
the glorious hero in the war against the Nubians, is
coming to the end of his days in this life. When he
dies, he must be honored as befitting a great soldier
of the Egyptian Nation. Pharaoh has decreed that the
general will be buried in a pyramid near his native
village, with generous gifts for the afterlife.
Your
task is to build a his pyramid and produce or import
enough goods to fill his tomb. To guard the general's
journey to the Field of Reeds, Pharaoh commands you
to build a small city nearby. You should be able to
export many of the local products to provide income
for your task, but be warned, the trade route to Abu
is very unstable due to military activity in the area.
There is the possibility of other trade routes opening
during the next few years, so be alert to changing trade
opportunities. From time to time, Pharaoh may request
something from you, but of course, that is to be expected
as any member of Pharaoh's staff surely knows by now.
The
Nubians hated and despised Mar-sh'all and would
consider it a great achievement to delay or even prevent
this final recognition of the old general by the Egyptian
Nation. Their sneak attacks will trouble you, and although
Pharaoh can not supply you with copper or weapons, but
you should be able to defend the city. Pay close attention
to the gods, they can help you greatly in your efforts,
or complicate your task if you ignore them.
Good
luck to you!
Hints:
- Be
quick! The old general is not expected to live
much longer
and Pharaoh is anxious that this task will be completed
before the memory of his great contributions fade
from the Nation.
- Message
announcing "granite price increase by 1 Db"
is reminder for required December save and is not
