Okay first of all an explanation as to why I did what i did
on the World map.
Abu, Farafra Oasis, Itjtawy, and Memphis are set as trade cities
but they do not sell or buy anything. The reason for this is I
wanted to make this game as historically accurate as possible.
When you open up a trade route through the Oases you find that the whole
thing stretches from Memphis to Abu, this is the historical
desert trade route that they used as well as the nile. Both
Bahiriya and Kharga were royal vinyards, although in the game
Kharga sells Ivory I believe.
Itjtawy was the royal residency set up by Pharaoh Amenemet-I;
kinda like a summer palace. I really wanted to make this senario during
Hateshepsut's time, but she wasnt included in the list of Pharaohs
for some reason...
You'll be attacked by Kushites from Kerma (Kush was in Kerma's area,
not Nubia, that was to the east and south of there--near Punt) :)
Okay back to the game:
As for the bent Pyramid I just wanted that to be there for
the fun of it, there was no such thing at Dakhla, except maybe
an obelisk or 2. :)
Abydos(Abjedu) is the Necropolis of Egypt so I have them
buying linen at a high rate and papyrus is bought by them as well. :)
Hmmm...that seems to be about it. If I think of anything, or you have any
suggestions Ill post them in the Map forum :)
Enjoy!
Oh yeah--build the forts youll be attacked by 15 or more
kushites every 4 years, starting 4 years after the start :)
