Assignment:
It has been a long and prosperous time, and I have expanded our lands greatly to the North. Only the Northern parts of the delta are still under the influence of the Sea People and that is why I am sending you, my most trusted vizier, to establish one of the most magnificient cities of the North. It shall be called Djedu!
It is a very hard task, for a rebel faction centerd around Waset has just separated from our Kingdom and considerable resources are wasted on keeping the peace. For that reason you have to start your city with relatively limited funds. I will make every effort to supply you with some more. Speaking about factions, you are not to maintain any kind of relationship with Waset and its two allied cities, for punishment will be severe! Also, I am expecting that the Waset chrisis will force me to request some goods from you.
We are also trying to attract the city of Sauty. They are currently independent, and my informants are telling me that Waset is going out of their way to get them, for they supply the best copper in the kingdom for weapons! You must do anything possible to help me with that task.
We must not forget the afterlife, either. Build a sphinx to honor my name, and two pyramids, for you and your generals (which will be much needed if you are to make it).
Oh, and one last thing, I asked my priests about you future and that mission. I'm affraid fate might catch up with forty summers from now. I suggest that you finish your pyramid by then!
Good luck!

Additional Comments:
This is my first scenario, but I played the first 20 years to make sure it's doable, and it is. It is for players that like a lot of invasions and requests. There are critical requests which must be fulfilled and I have added second chance requests on most of them. The requirements are:
Culture 90
Prosperity 100
Kingdom 100
Monuments - Sphinx and 2 bent pyramids
People 8000
8 Palatial estates
