This is the first in a series of scenarios based on the last great Pharaoh of the New Kingdom, Ramses III (r. 1184 BC - 1153 BC).
The Libyans have slowly been settling in Egypt for hundreds of years. But now the trickle has turned into a deluge. The Libyans are now moving into Egyptian territory in huge masses, including warriors and their families. They threaten to overrun parts of the kingdom. The new Pharaoh, Ramses III, has ordered you, his newest Nomarch to build a settlement at the Bahariya Oasis. Here you are to stem the Libyan invasion. Signifying the power of Pharaoh, you are to build a sun temple to Amun. In addition, because you show much bravery and promise in taking this dangerous mission, Pharaoh has allowed you to build a tomb of your own. Go! Make the Western Desert safe for Egypt!
This mission is somewhat hard. You have limited resources: hunting, wood and gold. But you can import many goods. There will be military activity. This is my first attempt at a scenario, so I would really apprecaite feed back.
