As demonstrated recently, a good flooding improves the growth of the reeds, what I could also check in this game. However you choose to have meadow farms, respecting Osiris may be useful. Also, I was first doomed by Osiris twice –no flooding- and laughed as I did not care. The third time Osiris sent an insect plague, and I stopped laughing.
And then, several times, I have hit the sprite limit (in brief, too much action on the map at the same time in a huge city too active and growing too fast)- reference in the miscellaneous Sprite Disaster upload. So the building of the city has become a training exercise in decent growth and activity management. It was a good opportunity, however, as I realized late –it would have been too late- that I have to stockpile huge quantities of papyrus and linen to support 20 schools and 11 libraries/mortuaries.
Entertainers also made me sweat at some times. At one moment, I decided to ignore some of their misbehaviours rather than correcting them, and finally accidents became scarce. The zookeeper gave me problems. However he is always going right, he happened to finish his roundtrip during 45 years. Then he stopped and I had to micro-manage him sometimes.
165 palatial estates in a 58,000 big city. It is not the city of Anthony (360 PE, 100,000 people, I think it is the record), but I made it at V.Hard, in a classic game, however with abundant resource
