Stone , by Tuthankhamun

Scenario ID = 11
Date Submitted = 2000-03-07

Author's Description:

Welcome to my mission "stone".

Basically, this mission is to cut stone of excisting types. Plain
stone, Limestone, Sandstone, Gems, Copper and gold should be possible
to cut.
To win, your city needs three Large Obelisks. The stone will(if it works)
be recieved as gifts. Make sure to comply the large stone requests, or
you can't win. Game meat(birds) should be possible to make as food.
It will take over 12 years to complete the mission. You can export large
amounts of stone, thats the fun here.
NOT see whats happends at the editor before you play it, that will lose all
fun. A ggod way to place large buildings (like the temple complex) is in the SE
side of the oasis.

If anything is wrong with the mission, E-mail me at
jv_super88@hotmail.com.
Have fun!!!!

Player Comment by Xerxes712:

To make an Obelisk, you need carpenters guild which require wood. There is no trees (or woodcutters industry) or trade cities for this. Nor any wood from gifts, thus how can you complete Obelisk?

Pharoah ask for 2 troops which no military is allowed to be built, this can not be done and ends up being game killer. If I had wood, I did receive only 400 granite as gifts so far from the stone and meat request, enough for 2 of 3 Obelisk until Pharoah attacks -no way to complete his request for troops -no military building allowed.

It would be easy to modify the scenario in different ways with mission editor to solve these, but I think I will let the author see fit to change (like getting a gift of wood also, and maybe eliminate Phoroah request for troops, or alow military building to be built).
