The Egyptian and Hellenic nations seem to have overlooked the the colonization potential of the island cluster known as the Cyclades that lie west of the Turkish mainland.
Geologists report that rich seams of minerals and metals are present in sufficient quantities to make it a viable resource for mining projects. Significant amounts of gold and copper deposits are present on the island of Naxos whilst granite is abundant on the island of Iona and the uninhabited eastern tip of the Greek mainland although, as on the Turkish mainland, wild beasts make the area dangerous.
The meadows of Tinos are fertile and abundant with game that will serve the colony adequately with food and there are reports of other smaller islands that may be exploited by our farmers. Fish is as plentiful in the seas as on the coast and timber can be found in plentiful supplies all over the area.
The inhospitible nature of the terrain and the inclement weather patterns may explain the reluctance of the coastal nations to inhabit these islands, but there is evidence from the studies undertaken that if a colony of 4000 can be maintained in a cultured mileau then they can become self-sustaining in 12-15 years.
It is recommended that a lighthouse is constructed on the Turkish penninsula to ensure safe passage through the rocks that prevail around the coastal regions, to achieve this we will need to stay in Romes favour to keep the flow of imported marble at a constant level. They require a supply of weapons, copper and wood to maintain their war machine. It is my opinion that if their needs are met they will refrain from invading these inhospitable climes, their navy will require further manning to achieve a feasable attack strength, our spys will need to keep a watch on the developments in Rome.
The pharaoh, Ptolemy XII is making demands that we must reproduce the Caesarium and the great library to prove our alliegance, it is recommended that we comply to his demands, though space is at a premium, until such times as our navy can be employed to remove this Egyptian jackal that dares to declare rulership over our nations.
To conclude; if a ferry network can be constructed very quickly to link the islands and establish a supply route to the mainland, it is recommended that this endeavour be undertaken post haste before other nations become wise to the potential inherant in the region.
Strategists project that as the colony develops a prominant profile the surrounding nations will become more reluctant to trade with us and we will inevitably be called to arms to defend that which we have strived so hard to achieve.

Tip: The first puzzle is how to connect the islands together before the game starts destroying your ferries due to blocked roads! Turn down the game speed!
This is the final installment in my Trade Trilogy, The first being Trade Wars, the second being Mediterranean Trade, enjoy.
