Hi there,
For those of you who have been waiting for this :
Glyph Generator v1.2 (Stand Alone Program)
After long programming evenings, I've been able to present you with this stand alone version of the Glyph Generator (NOT the online of offline version of Heavengames).
You'll be able to save and your housingblocks for later editing, preview option and calculations. It has a full legend of the buildings ...and, oh yeah, HTML generating for the forum too ;)
Be sure to read these install instructions before you install this program!!!
Install Instructions
1.Windows 98
You should have DCOM98 for Windows 98 installed on your system. I fyou're a windows 98 user. If you don't have it installed yet, you can download it from the Microsoft Website at
http://download.microsoft.com/msdownload/dcom/98/x86/en/dcom98.exe
Be sure to reboot! Then install Data Access Components 2.5. If you don't have it (on a Visual Basic CD, for instance), you can download it at the Microsoft website at
http://msvaus.www.conxion.com/download/dasdk/Install/2.50.4403.12/W9XNT4/EN-US/MDAC_TYP.EXE
Reboot and install Glyph Generator v1.2.
Enjoy!
2.Windows95

III. Differences with Online Glyph generator
You may find some differences with the housing generator on the site of Heavengames. :( I made these changes, since I found it difficult to type them with different keyboards. Some symbols are not standard on every keyboard, so...just make a note of that and please don't start complaining.
Roadblock here is "Q".
Desert here is "%".
Dance Platform here is "£".
