The game is saved just prior to winning. As the population aged, I slowly had to delete 6 work camps and 4 stone guilds. Otherwise, no changes were made to the map. I managed to keep my population lower this round by maxing out on shrines and keeping to 3 temples and one temple complex. I continually feasted the gods on an alternating basis with 4 months inbetween. One key for finishing quickly is to max imports of stone right off the bat. After South Dashur comes on line import plain stone as well as limestone.
After the peasants cleared the smaller pyramid site, I blocked it off with gardens until the large pyramid needed no more plain stone and then I opened it up again. The sphinx was started too early and I nearly went bankrupt importing wood for all the scaffolding. I had to import a small amount of copper to finish my infantry company.
I had only 6 jewellers for the whole game. I tried to keep a warehouse after the jewellers but close enough to the mines not to slow the mines down. I had two warehouses near the docks set on 1/2 get gems and 1/2 accept luxury goods. This kept enough gems by the docks to keep the docks clearing fast.
In order, I:
-set up a house near by gem mine and jewller sites so my first immigrants would go to supply the mines with labor. This made sure that my mines had labor quick without waiting for the first big housing block to populate.
-set up 1 and 1/2 of my housing blocks
-placed all 3 monuments
-set up all my gem mines and jewellers. went broke
-set up my 2 docks and 4 work camps
-set up houses near future plain stone site
-set up temple complex and altar of Amon
-started importing blocks of limestone
-set up military and built two archers forts
-after gift of copper built infantry fort. had 12 infantry for the first attack
-set up plain stone mines and stone guilds
-set up carpentry guilds and nearly went broke building sacffolding. Was 5000 in debt and temporarily suspended imports
-built 3rd dock after Iunet opened and waited to open South Dashur and open plain stone imports
-opened up the blocked off smaller pyramid when the larger pyramid needed only limestone and shut off plain stone imports

This record can probably be broken. I did it in 292 months on normal.
I slowed down by importing too much copper and started the sphinx early. This ran me out of credit and I had to shut down imports. At one point when the large pyramid was getting close to being done with plain stone, I ran out of storage for limestone. I opened up the smaller pyramid and did two levels. This ran me down on limestone and I experienced delays in the progression of the large pyramid.

One key to finishing quick. The storage yards call for laborers from the farthest work camp to haul stone. On my earlier attempts I placed work camps near my palin stone yards and a second group near the limestone yards. The laborers would walk clear past the pyramids to get to the opposite yards. On this attempt, I placed them only by the limestone yards, so the only took a long walk to get plain stone.

Good luck, but don't beat my record for a while. I can't play this map anymore. I'm an old giza.
