Selima Oasis , by Brugle

City ID = 88
Date Submitted = 2000-01-08

Author's Description:

Selima Oasis, just before victory, with all houses (fancy residences and common manors) in one block. There are only 2 bazaars, each specializing in nearby food and goods. About 10 trees were deleted, mostly to make roads to
the housing.

I didn't use the knowledge that the trade route to Kerma would close, so ebony wasn't initially stockpiled. In addition to not meeting Pharaoh's second request, this stopped growth for a while (since, without manors, a
large population would have high unemployment). Stockpiling ebony would have permitted a faster completion.

The housing block was designed to contain 12 manors, which (in retrospect) wasn't enough. Even with a temple complex and all justifiable industry (papyrus, beer, pottery, and weapons), extra police stations were added (haphazardly) to create jobs.

No salary was taken and no gifts were given to Egypt or the city. The final result:

Difficulty: Hard
