Meidum - a different approach, by Nimlot

City ID = 509
Date Submitted = 2002-03-26

Author's Description:

This is a new way of doing Meidum, the first really big test in the campaign with a pyramide complex and big logistic tests to the player.

Most people choose to make papyrus their main income, forcing them to populate the east bank where all invations come from. Therefor a large army is needed to protect your reed and papyrus industry.

This city has bricks and pottery as the main income, therefor only using the west bank which makes it possible to totally ignore the military side of the game. The invaiders will stand around for awhile on the east bank and then go back to where ever they came from.

Because of aging problems, all construction guilds and work camps have been deleted, but of course they where placed by the stone industry. Also note the Brugle storage yard with straw, supplying wood for the carpenters guilds.

Really nice city, me thinks :)
