There are a lot of monuments in this mission so if you want get the mission done in reasonable time i think you have to start importing sandstone emediately. Use of personal funds makes the start much more comfortable.
Osiris is important in the mission because keeping him happy staves off famine tho there is lots of floodplain to work with!
