After Waset, this is my second submitted city. It's the new capital of Egypt in Middle Kingdom. Just deliver the final burial provisions to finish this one.
Getting started was the hardest thing here. The first settlement I started was on the eastern part of the map. The Papyrus industry seemed the fastest way to make money, so I started it early. Then by building living blocks, farms and more industry on both sides of the Nile my city started to flourish. Though some requests got me by surprise, I never neglected to fulfill them.
One of the mission goals was to create six stately manors. When my city was up and running, I created a new living block with all the needed services and goods. In no time at all the manors popped out of the ground. Be sure to check the stocks of the local bazaar. They're amazing!!!
I started the construction of the monuments in my sixth year or so and took me quite a while. It was the last thing I needed to complete the mission. It did suck to get the needed culture rating. I really need to improve my skills there!
No military threads were there when I was governing (quite a while actually!).
