Chariot Island Version 2
A version of Moquel's Chariot Island, amended by Baltic, was used in the recent Pharaoh Cup Competition. This is my completed city which was placed second (to Neferjili) in the Novice (Normal Difficulty) Class.
The criteria to be met (and my results) were:
Population 2500 (4629)
Prosperity 60 (100)
Kingdom Rating 80 (100)
Monuments 11 Small Stepped Pyramid (11)
Date of Submission not later than Dec 15 (May 13)
The winning criteria were:
WC1: The highest housing level, holding for three months after submission (Palatial Estate)
WC2: Population (4629)
I concentrated the bulk of my housing in two areas, the north west and north east of the map. The south east was dedicated to establishing the Palatial Estate. Industry was located centrally on the island, the pyramid on the southern land and farms to the north, on the island and on the south.
I thoroughly recommend you play this map, and indeed the original by Moquel; there's plenty of interest and real challenges all the way through.
