Lots of possibilities to start with. I decided to go the industrial way. Exporting papyrus, linen and later weapons. I did place a couple of gold mines, but I don't like gold mines. I don't know way, but I always think they're more of a pain. You have to place your palace near them and it always seems that I could be making more money with other things.
After a while I took them down.
All housing is at least ordinary cottage. I used a variation of Grumpus block, and found out for the first time that it has a problem with some orientations. I just replaced some buildings and it worked fine. Fortunatly the block is very symetric so its easy to just change places.
You really learn things in this scenario, and I think I can handle import/export a lot better now.
