I placed the three pyramids on the east bank first before anything else. I chose that location because of the limestone availability and being able to have all the support staff to the north of the pyramids. All three pyramids were built at the same time. There was only about two years between the completions of each pyramid.

I housed the army on the peninsula in the middle of the map because of the good coastal areas. I designed housing blocks so that all the libraries would be contained in the four main blocks. These four blocks are all on the southern land mass. These are not my standard blocks but were designed to fit the purpose and the terrain. I just wanted a well cultured fairly quick finish. You'll notice the pottery industry is dislocated from the main road system and that was to maintain the flow of clay to the brickworks during construction.
