No mansion was built and therefore no additional funds were required to build or used to raise the kingdom rating. The majority of the city including the Sun temple are all located on the West bank. There are two main housing blocks, the worker block is pretty much all fancy residences and the manors are mostly stately. I have a temple complex right between the two to help raise the desirability of both blocks. I did not destroy industry near the end to beautify the city so you can see the real layout of the fully functioning economy. I did change the main sandstone storage yards to libraries to pull the culture up to 100 near the end. You will see the main blocks do have some of the entertainment venues but due to space limitations the festival square and a couple of pavilions were placed on the east bank. The economy was based on papyrus production right from the start.
I made a number of mistakes, the most notable was I started my fisheries a few years too early because the two hunters could have easily supported the first 4 thousand inhabitants. This would have reduced my expenditures early on and perhaps I could have finished a few months earlier. The north bank of fisheries were only added in the last couple of years to ensure the second food type for the manors. The other main mistake was not allowing enough space for the senate house, got caught up in trying to keep the flow of sandstone near maximum. I also tried using small statues to control how my manors developed, it was basically successful but I need to practice a bit more. ;)
