Some thought on Rowarty:

I would have expected the last military campaign to be more spectular with chariots, legions, archers, forts, walls and tower guards, ... Using tactics and strategy you built upon in the early military campaigns (Byblos, Khmun, Heh, Iken, ...)

Instead, this turned out to be a navy battle and an exercise in logistics. Pretty much a let down.

From a military point of view. Create a large Navy and also max out in your number of archer forts (surprisingly you do not have the capability of chariots or infantry forts) as you'll need them to send off to distant battles.

In this senario if you do not send enough troops the trade route closes. But not to worry, it will eventually open up again (after you repay to have it open). Also make sure you wipe out the enemy troop ships. Once you do that there is not much the enemy can do to hurt you.

From an economic view, papyrus, beer, linen and pottery can be exported. I concentrated on papyrus, beer, and pottery early on and eventually moved to linen when that trade route opened up.

I also started all mounments at the same and there was no issue with concurrent building.

In all, I felt Rowarty could have been much more if Impressions would have just added more open area letting you utilized chariots and infantry.

Vriesea
