If you meet all requests this is really a peaceful campaign.

The campaign will turn militarisic if you refuse to send troops following the first request. That was the approach with this downloaded game. It resulted in six attacks by the Hyksos.

Some suggestions and observations if you take the military approach:
Begin your chariot production early (go into debt if need be).
Concentrate on exporting beering to get funds to support you military production.
Do not build close to the battlefield.
Chariots are most effective using the "charge" tactic.
Kiss up to Seth and you will be rewarded on the battlefield.
In the downloaded game you will be attacked in Oct 1521 by the Hyksos. This will provide you with the opportunity to attack/defend with the chariot divisions.
