This might be titled "Out in the Nick of Time" because the foreign army is set to invade in a few months and there is no military. Only recommend this strategy if you think you can get the city done before it is invaded, or if the expected invasion turns out to be the sail-by/show the flag type. Not sure why I didnt build any navy, busy running the city I guess.

Some early problems with ignoring the contaminated water messages, which turned into malaria, which eventually became plague. A few physicians got it under control. Took the resuce loan in the 4 th year. Most of the bricks seemed to be donated for making the requests immediately. I did have to turn the barley off for a while, it was just everywhere. I had turned it back on, Pharoah has an outstanding request for mucho beer! Another reason to boogie!

This is based on old C3 type blocks, just triple center gardens with houses facing outward. Connecting at right angles with the huge dance pavillion seemed to work well. The reed cutters cross the ferry to find reeds, and their little village has basic entertainment. I think the other linen village could be expanded quite a bit if you wanted the import money. I was taxing at 12%, they didnt seem to mind.

I tend to try to hold the population down to not feed excess folks. More than likely the medium prosperity is due to not a lot of profit-- but the goal is only 25. I fit all three mastabas on one side, the city is stable. If I did it again, I would do the war ships and expand the linen village a bit to make more money.

Still, it was fun. It is early in the game, we are all experimenting.
